Claudia has extensive knowledge and experience in healthcare. She coleads our global work with sustainability in the Life Sciences Practice across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sectors. She is a coleader of Sustainability & Health for the McKinsey Health Institute, a non-profit-generating entity within the firm that aspires to catalyze action to add 45 billion years of higher-quality life for all people around the world. Prior to this, she coled our global medical-affairs work, and has developed innovative approaches such as analytics for unmet medical needs and medical launch readiness.

For the past decade, Claudia has collaborated with executives and leaders in the healthcare and life-sciences space. She has worked with pharmaceutical companies, medical-products manufacturers, biopharmaceutical companies, digital-health innovators, health systems, and payers. Given her background in finance and M&A, she has focused her work on reshaping strategy, transforming company performance, managing large scale transformations and integrations, innovating for new sources of growth, creating value through sustainability across ESG divisions, defining and implementing novel commercial approaches, refining operating models, and transforming cost bases.

Claudia is a frequent speaker at industry-association meetings and conferences on the topics of medical innovation and sustainability in healthcare.
