Brings deep expertise in commercial and strategy topics to consumer and retail companies in the United States and internationally, with a focus on capability building and sustainable impact

Jen serves consumer and retail companies in the United States and internationally, across commercial and strategy issues, with an emphasis on at-scale capability building and organization transformation for sustained impact. Her expertise includes revenue-growth management, corporate and portfolio strategy, go-to-market strategy, and channel strategy.

Examples of Jen’s recent client projects include the following:

  • Creating a holistic corporate-growth strategy through 2025 for a consumer company, spanning geographies and categories, leading to a plan for revenue and profit acceleration to drive top quartile total returns to shareholders. This helped drive growth in the core business and identify new business models and critical enablers, including culture, capabilities, and an organization model.
  • Leading a large-scale, multiwave commercial transformation for a beverage company across a number of geographies, defining a new brand and product strategy, including supporting the price and pack strategy and channel strategy to deliver more than 10 percent growth in revenue.
  • Developing a 10-year portfolio strategy for a consumer company by creating a quantitative and qualitative view of the market’s future state, based on consumer, shopper and channel, and customer trends. The project defined the key areas to play and whitespaces to address to meet long-term financial goals.
  • Leading an end-to-end revenue-growth management program for a food company by identifying opportunities across current product offering, including developing strategies to drive top and bottom-line impact through a new price strategy.

Before joining McKinsey, Jen worked in investment banking and private equity, with a focus on consumer products, healthcare, and media.
