Helps organizations achieve data-driven transformation and solve tough data challenges

Joe is a partner in McKinsey's New York office, helping organizations unlock the value of data and leverage it to find new sources of competitive advantage. He was the founder and CEO of Caserta, a technology consulting and implementation services firm acquired by McKinsey in 2022, and has more than two decades of experience in collaborating with companies to navigate data-driven transformations and solve tough data challenges and in helping C-suite executives and IT leaders design and build analytics-based solutions.

A passionate data technologist, Joe speaks and writes frequently on the subject. He is a coauthor of the industry best-selling book, The Data Warehouse ETL Toolkit (Wiley, 2004), which has effectively become the standard for preparing data integration for analytics. Today it is used to help teach the extract, transform, and load data integration process that combines data from multiple sources into a single, consistent data store, enabling enterprise leaders to tap into the value of their own data.

In addition to his client work, Joe is the founder and host of a large local group on data warehousing.
