Manish Chopra is a senior partner at the global management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company, where he counsels CEOs and advises boards on their most strategic issues. He has served prominent mission-based healthcare institutions across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East over his 24-year career with the firm.
Manish previously served as the managing partner for McKinsey’s Singapore office from 2010 to 2012 and He also led our pricing work in the Americas from 2016 to 2021 and currently serves on the global pricing and fee arrangements committee for the firm.
Manish is the author of two books related to meditation. The Equanimous Mind (2011 and 2021) chronicles his experiences with Vipassana meditation following a transformative introduction. Emergent Gems (2024) presents insights gained through meditation in short relatable vignettes. His article “Want to be a better leader? Observe more and react less” outlines the benefits of meditation for leaders.
Manish actively champions the message of inner personal development—within McKinsey and more broadly—through public speaking at business and academic institutions. He supports other professionals in their endeavors to learn and draw benefit from meditation.
Manish grew up in India and attended college at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi before completing his master’s and PhD at the University of Michigan. He is a fitness enthusiast and keen traveler and lives with his wife and daughter.
