Brings 25 years of experience to his work with leading energy and mining clients in Asia, Australia, and the United States

Mike leads our Oil & Gas Practice in Asia. Drawing on 25 years of experience in the resource industries (in particular, oil and gas), he advises leading energy and mining companies in Asia, Australia, and the United States, serving international oil and mining majors, independents, and national oil companies.

In the past few years, Mike has led our work on a liquid-natural-gas project that involved extensive reorganization and project-execution improvement, developed commodity strategies for a major diversified mining company, and completed multiple operational-performance-improvement programs in oil and gas and mining. He has conducted several market scans and due diligence projects for private-equity firms investing in the mining and oil and gas sectors, identified growth options for a downstream oil and gas company, and helped a major oil and gas company develop and implement its digital and advanced-analytics strategy.

Mike began his career at a global oil and gas company, spending 11 years working in Australia and the United States in several corporate advisory roles and as an operations manager at an Australian refinery.
